WEEK 14 - Is that really all???

So this was probably the slowest week ever.  Could be due to the fact I was not able to do as much as I always try to do.  Keeping busy sure does make the time go faster.  Kind of wish that anestesia would have lasted until December. But freak those people woke me up.

So mom and dad came down this week to help out with the boys.  Monday night was a huge dinner of fondue (cheese, meat, and chocolate)  I think we all ate tons too much.  I know I did as I was still stuffed Tuesday morning.  But as we were cooking, G was dancing, with his underpants off!!!  He was just so darn cute that dad made me take a picture.

It was then time for fun outside again.  The kids love the sprinkler, yes all the kids including the dog. Blu likes to attack the water.  G gets mad at him for hogging it all.  So really its just great fun all around.

Crazy dog running for the water.  He is just too excited!!!

Tuesday came and I had oral surgery.  I was supposed to get 4 wisdom teeth removed, however I still have them all except for half of one.  I got poked 4 times trying to get an IV, once they flooded my arm with fluid as they missed my vein.  My big huge vein!!!!  Wacko lady!!!  Then the part of anestesia comes in.  I got put under for this one tooth, but I wish they could have just let me sleep.  It all happend so fast.  I left the hospital 5 1/2 hours later and still have buises on my arms to this day (Sunday).  What an experience.  Thankfully to mom and dad, the boys were taken well care of.

So after they left all I did was sit around and relax.  It was very nice, but like I said before, time went by really really slowly.

Thursday Jacob had his PAC meeting and his den was to lead the flag ceremony at the beginning.  Of course G had to go pee right before they started.  So I got back in time for the pledge.  Jacob led the ceremony.  I am so proud of him for speaking in front of all those people.  He rocked!!!!! Here are some pics from the meeting.

Ha Ha now its time for swimming again. I know I know, every week swimming.  However every week brings new things.  So this was safety week where they wanted the kids to jump in the pool and learn a safety roll.  Ya good idea, if it didnt mean jumping in in your clothes.  G was having nothing to do with that idea.  This is him backing away from his teacher.  Oh and luckily he was the only one in class.  She had quite a time trying to get him in the pool.

Ya so after he backed all the way he could possibly go, she got out and got him to the edge of the pool and got him in.  This is him fighting.  He was not a happy camper.

So after he got all his clothes off, which I had to do, he wouldnt let his teacher take them off.  She had to coerce him into the pool and finally got him in a good mood. Again luckily he was the only one in the class.

This is G telling his teacher green light, red light to make her stop splashing or to start splashing.  He himself would not do it but made his teacher do all the work.
And here he is putting his face in the water.

After all it was a good swimming day.  He did leave though saying he forgot to go under.  So at least he remembers he had to do something.

Now its time for soccer. THEY ACTUALLY WON!!!!  Jacob did a great job, there were so many good moments.  I tried to narrow them down to the best.

Oh ha ha this is him doing some wierd dance.  I caught him doing it.  He doesnt know it though.

Sometimes G "accidently"  kicked his soccer ball onto the field.  He had to run on to get it as the game was playing.  Can you see the sly smerk on his face?  He knows what he did :)

Oh and a potty break AGAIN!!!  At least he goes with his back to everyone.

So basically that was the week. I thought it was all done and then craziness broke out.  G was his wild self, J helped to egg it on.  So really the week ended wonderfully.  OH here is one more thing.  Just remember I said G was acting out.  It was quiet, I was happy and actually on the phone with dad, but this is what happens when quietness occurs in the house.

By the way, that would be a "G" written by yours truely, GREYSEN!!!!!  AND with permanent marker.  He brought in his cars to me while I was on the phone and they all had a G on them.  He explained they were all his.  Well I guess this cabinet is his as well.  SOOOOO any ideas on how to get permanent marker off wood cabinets would be greatly appreciated.  Jacob says "now no one will want to buy this house!!!"  He is so worried!!!

And Bill just remember his is allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll yours!!!!!  I dont take the blame for this one at all!!

Ok well on to a new week, and new adventures.  Im sorry you are so bored, but let me tell you we are having the time of our lives here!!!!!  Things couldnt be more fun :)

You know we love you with all our hearts!!! I look forward to everyday when the phone rings and you are on the other end, and every Sunday when we get to video chat with you.  It makes my day, and makes my week!!!

Stay safe, and find new things to do.  Only 7 or so more months, ha ha.  But who's counting???
