Week 16 - The Lazy Song

This kind of sums up our week and is also the new theme song for Jacob.  But im thinking that things might actually be normal around here.  Well as normal as they can be.  But no major problems so that is always a check on the plus side.  And also on the plus side, Jacob only has 2 1/2 half weeks of school left and then we can hang out together.  Its nice to be able to spend time with just him since Greysen pretty much consumes my time when he is around.

So anyways, since our week was pretty boring there are only really 3 or so highlights of the week, so lets see...

Highlight number 1:
RAIN :)  we got rain!!!
Look I have proof

Highlight number 2:
Greysen put on goggles, listened, and graduated!!!!
He is the one on the left with his head in the water, yes I said he was listening :)

Learning how to push off the wall on his back (next level skill)

 Getting ready to go under...............AGAIN!!!

Learning to swim on his belly, again a skill for the next level

Having fun, he would go up like this then go under the water while holding onto the wall.

He even attemped the little slide.  I missed the actual event but this is him getting up on it.

YAH and he graduated from PS 1 to PS 2.  He actually moved up!!!!  I knew he could do it, I was just wondering when :)  So proud of him.  We celebrated by going to get a milkshake, it was yummy :)

Then soccer of course.  The team did really well this week, however Jacob was tired.  He didnt get in there as much as normal so not as many action shots.  Even though the team worked hard, they still lost by one.  But they had to go against the green giants (and im not kidding they are big kids!!!)

 Highlight number 3:
Yummy ooey gooey smore pancakes, they were soooo yummy and I dont even like pancakes.

Blu wishing I would drop some.  He acts deprived but he really isnt.  He gets yummy dog food :)

So after they cook on the stove you put on some marshmellow creme and some chocolate chips with some more graham crackers

Here is G after eating some of his, I kind of think he wore more then he ate :)

This is the final product.  They were mighty tasty :)  And probably not good for you either, but they were good.

So about the song.  We went to get the boys haircut, and milkshakes when the "The Lazy Song" came on.  Jacob started to sing it and decided that was his new motto.  I said I believe this on weekends and he declared it to be like this everyday.  How am I not surprised?

The good news of the day was I had the boys help me clean the house, all toys cleaned up.  Bedrooms cleaned, and they even dusted (to the best of their abilities).  So they were very helpful, that is why milkshakes were in order.

Then we had a fantastic dinner, and called it another week!

Only 7 more to go I believe until the cruise.  I am so looking forward to it.  I can hardly wait!!!!    But shhhh the boys dont know anything!!!!

Till next week.   We love you tons.  Happy you are safe, and bored.  But at least you are safe.  And dont be jealous of my gardening skills.  I will take good pics of my farm for next week :)
