Oh sorry this isnt my yard, but we get to hear them work on this every day starting at 7:30am. Greysen thinks its great as this is the view out of his room. I mean what more could a boy want besides real life tractors outside his window?? However they tend to give me a big headache :)
A tulip Bill planted, slowly but surely they are popping up :)
Another pretty tulip
My begonia (sp?) its big and pretty, and out front of the house. OH and I got it cause my neighbor gave me a coupon for 5 bucks off a plant at HEB so this is what I chose.
Call me farmer Joe. Or just Farmer Skye. My lettuce is coming up, onions, and tomatos.
Just some awesome flower I found at Home Depot or something. I love it, its my favorite :)
Ok so now for some fun. So Tuesday I go get Greysen out of bed to get ready for school, and this is how I found him. Orange long sleeve shirt (on backwards), red soccer jersey (on backwards) and lime green shorts. Ok so the funny about this is that I had put him to bed in PJ's, he had changed himself before he went to sleep. Oh did I mention he took off his pull up too, ya so I ended up having to wash his bed as well. OH and the other funny is, at his first game he would not wear the jersey. So he was the only one in yellow when his team is red.
Oh and here is my crafty project my MIL helped me learn to make. It was fun and I think I would like to have a chance to make more some day :)
Ok so here we are again, SWIMMING!!!! This week was soooo much better. He actually smiled. I was amazed. But the pictures will tell all :)
still no goggles :)
but happy
And remember a few weeks ago, maybe last week. He would not even put his head in the water. Now he is much more relaxed :)
So relaxed in fact he is even ready to splash his friends. I had to add this one cause the kids face cracks me up!!!! That is what one looks like after G attacks him with water.
Oh why stop splashing now??? Now he is having fun kicking water on his friends and teacher.
Cruising down the wall. He was going so fast, I think trying to get away, but he didnt get far.
Now the fun begins. My wonderful neighbor got a group together to help me stain the deck, fill my planters, plant a tree, remove a tree and so forth. Well here you will see the in progress, and the after shots. But no where near the end. I cant wait to show you the final product, flowers and all!!! But this is what you get for now :)
This is the Crepe Myrtle we planted out front.
Linsey and friends working on staining the planters.
More crew members working on the gazebo.
And the deck floor, oh and someone was a bit shy :)
So after the fun on the deck was over we took Grandma B to her first hockey game. It was also Hardy Oak (Jacobs school) night, along with several other schools, boy scout groups, etc. But we got good tickets, free hot dog, chips and soda :) The funny of the night, I left my wallet in the car, tried to get back out to get it but had to go through a lot to let me out and back in again. Thankfully they were nice and let me go as I think I also forgot to lock the car. I would have been in big trouble over that one. But once back in we were able to watch the game.
Jacob and Grandma B.
I bought Greysen ear plugs for the game, he says they are too loud. They worked!!!! Also that sucker lasted the whole game, it was awesome!!! Hot dog in one hand, and the sucker in the other. What a good night. HOWEVER dont let the sweet little boy fool you. I asked the kid 3 times if he needed to go to the restroom, each time I got a reply of NO. So he sits on my lap and what does he do??? PEEEEEE's on me!!!! ALOT!!!!!! I was sooooo mad, and wet!!! UGH!! Breathe, its ok. Its over. Im dry and clean now :)
Just a shot of the ice.
Boys and Grandma B having fun.
Ok back to this and that. I found another tulip that popped up on Sunday. This one is pretty cool.
And since I was walking around I thought I would take pics of the deck in better condition. Its pretty much done. The railing inside the gazebo needs to be finished, and I also need to do one more coat on the floor. Then it will be done.
OOOOPS this is the one accident of the day. I will work hard to fix it I promise!!!!
So all in all it was a good week. And a very very tiring weekend. Jacob had another game this weekend and his team did awesome. They tied this week as well. Then Sunday we got to spend the day with Grandma and Grandpa. We ate and early dinner, came home, planted bulbs, and thanks to the other really nice neighbor we were able to add some topsoil mix to the front yard. I finally got done about 8pm and crashed, I was exhausted!!!!
Well I hope that I am able to finish the deck soon and grow some grass. I will work hard on that one too. Wish you could have been here to help us with the deck. The outcome is so nice. I am really happy with it.
We will talk to you soon, skyping with you was wonderful and everyone thinks you look and sound great. They all enjoyed talking to you. I love you with all my heart and the boys do too. We cant wait until next week to Skype with you again. Until then, enjoy your week and we love you tons!
