Week 7 - WANTED!!!!!

Week 7!!!!!  Can you believe it.  We have made it 7 weeks on our own.  And are still surviving.  Not to mention this has been one of my luckiest weeks ever!!!!!  Not only did I sub a ton, and had to turn away jobs because I was already booked.  But I also found $10 dollars in the parking lot at G's school!!!!  It was my lucky day.  But the best news of all, came from my neighbor Linsey.  We had a "neighborhood meeting" which consisted of you know, Linsey and I.  She had invited me over, well out front to drink some wine, only to let me know that her church is doing this 40 days of purpose thing.  Ya so im like, "thats cool,"  ya well little did I know, im one of their purposes!!!!  They want to come to my house, 10 + people and they want to stain the deck, plant my gardens, remove a dead tree, and anything else I need done around the house.  CAN YOU BELIEVE IT!!!!!!    I feel so blessed!!!!  So they will buy all the supplies and get the job done!!!!  I just cant even tell you how wonderful this is.  The deck is such a huge task.  Wow Im just speechless!!!!  Anyways, Oh freak I totally missed the funniest thing.  Well not the funniest but the funniest first thing of the week.  Here it is:

Yes that is Greysen totally and completely obsessed with Wii bowling in his underwear.  Gma B introduced this fun game on Tuesday as he was home with her ALLLLLLLLLL day!!!!  So he was very warm and needed some air.  Well as far as I know his top score this week was 193.  Could have been hirer at some time but that is the best I saw.

Since the week was beyond busy, I didnt get many pictures during the week until Gma and Gpa came down to celebrate Greysens birthday.  We went..........................................................................................
bowling!!!!  yes bowling.   Im sure you could have guessed that one.  3 games and this is what it looked like:

So then after bowling, we had to celebrate with a bbq and presents, oh ya and some cake.  Well cookie cake, which took 2 tries.  It was my first attempt and it didnt "pan out" so well.  Ha ha funny.  I couldnt get it all out of the pan.  Then my neighbor asks "did you use the parchment paper?"  ya forgot about that, but honestly I didnt have any to begin with.  So with a little help from her, and her parchment paper, it was a success.  Just look at the pics!!!!

Yes you are seeing correctly.  It is pink and purple frosting, with buzz lightyear.  Hey I let him pick it all out so dont look at me!!!  He does have a sensitive side somewhere in that little hard headed body of his.

Ok hold on, hold on, hold on.  Dont freak out.  It does happen once in a blue moon that G will give his big bro a hug.  This one is for the cool gifts he got from his brother.  Ok now we can continue!!!!

Yes as you can see, several years later G finally got his sand and water table.  And can I tell you it was a hit!!!!  So much so that now the real story can begin.  As well as the title of this weeks blog.  Are you ready for this???



WANTED!!!!

or should I say

LOST AND FOUND!!!

You guessed it!!!  Well let me begin with the beginning of the story.  I was at a gymnastics meet all day with my level 4 team.  Oh and did I mention it was my last meet with them, ya I quit my job.  I decided to stay home with the boys and help them get reaccustomed to their dad being gone.  Jacob has taken it pretty hard and his grades have dropped DRAMATICALLY!!!  So that is why I decided to stay home with the boys.  Ok so while I am away, my parents and mother in law are taking care of the kids.  However I guessed they forgot they had 3 to watch not just 2.  Blu counts as a kid!!!!  So G and J I guess were filling up the water table using the faucet up front of the house, leaving the gate open.  Yes they left the gate open, so you know what is about to happen next.  So approximately 11am comes around and everyone is ready to head downtown to the River walk and so Gpa says "ok get Blu in the kennel"  HMMMMM where could he be???  Ok so some people in this house started to freak!!!  They searched everywhere, there were tears, everyone got their daily or monthly exercise searching the neigborhood for the dog.  So finally Linsey (have you noticed she has come to the rescue quit often this week) saw a flyer at the gate to our development for DOG FOUND please call.  So she called, however the guy would not talk to her since she was not the actual dog owner.  So she had my parents call them.  Oh by the way as I was told this was about 5pm (6 HOURS LATER!!!).  So they went to their house and sure enough there was Blu playing with their dog in their back yard.  Oh and you heard me right, PLAYING!!! with their dog, no not eating or fighting PLAYING!!!!!  Thankfully these wonderful people took in our little Blu and gave him water and played with him, oh and hung flyers, and helped us find our little Blu dog. 

So I get home from the gymnastics meet at about 8 and heard the story.  My poor Blu's feet were so worn he could hardly walk, and I think he was a little exhausted too as he had quite an adventure and found himself substantially far from the house.
