Week 9 Part 2 Its all about J!!!!

So after G's game it was time to go home and get ready for the Cirque De Soleil show.  Dralion, I believe is what it was called, or how its spelled.  It was all going well until the goon next to me dressed in a suit decided he was hungry and got himself a What a burger hamburger, LOADED!!!!  Now do you think anyone can eat one of those with any type of decency???  Obviously not!!!  as the freak let some of his hb fall onto my leg!!! Didnt even offer a napkin.  SO I had to reach into my purse, take out a tissue and wipe off my leg and seat.  Then the nice man offers a napkin in case it happens again.  I mean really???  Freak man.  Lucky for him it didnt happen again!!!  So I enjoyed the rest of the show, then hurried homee to pick up G and take his babysitter home in order to make it to J's game.  Luckily for me my super nice awesome neighbor, Linsey, but who shall not be mentioned when it comes to drinking, took my child to the field for me so he would not be late for his game.  So this is how it went.  There were so many good shots it was hard to choose which ones to add so I added all the ones where he is kicking the ball. ha ha

Oh but this is warm up.  he is running!!!!!

And going after the ball.  he is number 8 by the way, but he is also the only blonde (or shall I say dirty blonde, as J likes to put it) on the team.  Oh in Green.

Here he is kicking the ball, watch out boy in red!!!!
Again with his foot on the ball, I mean this is more then once in a game, im so impressed with him!!!
And look at that face, now that is determination if I ever saw it!!!
YUP kicking it again.  You go J!!!!
Oh I cant forget G who was having fun kicking the ball on the sidelines, like the tongue in his mouth, every shot I got it was twisted all up inside there.  Guess he was really thinking!!
Oh ya well this is the goalie shot, the one where J was too slow and missed the ball, owell he isnt the greatest goalie.
But at least he caught this one, and then get a load of this.
Ya thats right, he is punting it now, and watch how high it goes.
See its high, but it sort of went out of bounds.  But it was a good kick though.  Im proud of him!!!
Ok back to defense, where he is a little more comfortable.  And this is him kicking the ball again.
 Getting agressive.
Celebrating his team scoring another goal.  They tied I think, or won, im not sure.

Oh I forgot its not all about J, we took G to his first movie.  It was Rango.  Not too bad of a movie, the snake was a little scary for G but he fell asleep.  So it was a good experience, he wants to go back again, but I might need to invest in ear plugs for G as he covered his ears the whole time!!!
Ya just me and G :) and J stuffing his face with popcorn.

Alright, well it finally got done!!!!  Man I was worried it would  never happen.  It was  a great week.  We only have one more week to go with Gma B.  It has been wonderful having her here, the boys and Blu have really enjoyed it.  I think Blu will be devastated when she leaves to be quite honest.  G might too as she is his little playmate.

Ok well on to week 10 and hopefully some more normalcy.  We love you tons and miss you even more.  We really enjoy Skyping with you on the weekends, its nice to finally see your face.  Hope you have a great week and until next week........ stay safe, oh and stay out of sand storms!!!!

WEEK 9 - He shoots..... He scores!!! at practice at least!!

So it was almost a normal week.  Yes 9 weeks into this and we are hitting some sort of normal.  As normal as normal could be for us.  It was also my first week not working at the gym.  It was great!!!  I was able to help J do homework, write his speech for his wax museum character ( Patrick Henry) and play a lot outside with the kids.  Oh hold on, I cant forget to mention the part where I started up the mower, ON MY OWN!!, then seeded and feeded, or wait is it fed?, anyways, I did that to the yard.  And I got my very first sunburn on the year!!!  I have a great farmers tan going, dont be jealous!!  OH and I got to take the boys to their very first soccer practices, and games!  as well as several other exciting events this week.  But hey I better start at the beginning so you can see the pics to go with our fun.

This is the warm up for Greysens team, notice he is just standing there.  I guess he is too good for the warm-up part of soccer.  Oh and he is the one in a grey shirt, and lime green shorts, next to Jacob.

Here he is kicking nicely to the little boy in red next to the assistant coach.  However he started kicking it hard, passing the little boy, and the little boy just looked at it and didnt budge.  Therefore my child had to go chase his own ball.  I think that kid is smart!!!

Jacob and Greysen are celebrating a goal which G made.  One of the seven, during practice.

This is how G gets to the ball, he pushes his friends.  Ya not a good sportsman yet, it will come with time im told.

Here is G again in control of the ball ready to make another shot.

Yup here it is, another goal.  He kinda rocks, in practice that is.

 Uh huh, another one.

Ok so now we will move on, to swimming.  Yes swimming.  So it was a better class this week, here take a look.
So far no crying, we are doing good.  I dont know what is up with the two girls in the class, but G happen to say he didnt like them.

Ok so notice how the goggles are in hand as well as mr. bday duckie.  But at least he is attempting a new move.

he is wondering if I saw him squirt his teacher and that girl with his rubber ducky.  Isnt he nice :)

Ya not so wanting to get in the pool, its the deeper pool, and before swimming started he said he was not getting in the big square pool, ya well watch this.

Do you see the look, he is not a happy camper, and the fact that he had to give up rubber ducky and his goggles so he could hold on just put a cherry on top of this one.  Evil eyes!!!!

Still not liking the whole big square pool thing.  Wont even lay flat for the poor teacher!!!

Ok back to soccer.  So this is soccer game day.  Saturday 830am.  Yes I said 830am, not exactly a good time for G as I had to drag him out of bed, fight with him to get his soccer clothes on, except the shin guards which he refused to wear in practice.  This is what we did pretty much the entire game as he also refused to put on his team shirt, and play!!!!

Oh so the coach finally got him out on the field.  it took a lot of encouragement, and notice still no red team shirt.  He stuck out like a sore thumb.  He was not quite as agressive as he was in practice the other day either.  Then some other kid kicked the ball in and he got pissed and said he didnt like them because they stole his ball.

This is the face at the end of that !!!!!

Ok I am finishing this post, I will attach another one to finish the week because this is frustrating me.  So

TO BE CONTINUED........

Week 8 - Happy Birthday over and over again. OH and Spring Break fun :)

As we left last weeks blog we had celebrated Greysen's birthday with the grandparents.  Well then Tuesday, his actual birthday comes around and we had to celebrate it by doing what he wanted to do.  His POD was the Childrens Museum, but we added on a few extra sights.  So you will find pics of the museum and the "Tower of the Americas."  Not only did we hit up the museum once, but we went again after lunch at the Buckhorn Saloon, or something of that nature.  It was great.  The boys had a wonderful time, along with the rest of San Antonio who was on Spring Break.

Yes this is Jacob actually looking over the side, big move for him!!!!

So since we played hard all day this is how it ended.  Wow was it ever the most peaceful time of the day!!!

And while he was out I decided to take a few pics of the flowers we planted around the house.  I love them. I am so excited to have the deck done, more flowers added and just being able to enjoy the peacefulness of the deck.  It was the best addition ever!!!

Wednesday Greysen got to celebrate his birthday again with his classmates. He took them some cupcakes and had a little party.  Then Thursday rolled around and it was time for the big 4 YEAR CHECKUP!!!  He did great and passed with flying colors.  Even with his mis-shaped head.  Here he is waiting for the doctor to come :)

It was then time for his shots.  I sat behind him and held his arms (and closed my eyes of course).  Do you know what he did!!!!  The kid watched as he got the shots, didn't move one millimeter, and didn't cry one tear.  He was such a champ!!!!!   Im so proud of my big man :)  For today anyways :)

So we headed to get some gas and yes I have a helper for that as well

Then I took the boys and Gma B to San Marcos glass bottom boat thing.  Ya its on a lake and I wasnt sure how cool it would be but it was a great day.  The boys loved the boat, running around, and looking at the fish and turtles.  And NO we did not see the swimming pig.  Long story short I guess there used to be one, but not anymore.  humpppphhhh  owell.  Here are some pics of the wonderful day we had.

Greysen holding the tickets :)  He is ready to board!!!!!
A cute little turtle.  There were so many of them.  And can you believe how clear the water is, this is not just a regular ol lake!!!
These are the natural springs at the bottom of the lake.  there are tons of these.  They said if the lake was drained it would refill in 8 hours.  Thats it!!!  Well in case you are wondering the bubbly sand stuff is the natural springs. and the yellow thing is a flower.

G took a pic of J and I.  I believe he might be a natural photographer.  He took trillions of pics.  But this on turned out pretty good if I say so myself :)

I think Gma B is squeezing his brain.  She has a look of frustration.  I wonder why anyone would have such a feeling when it comes to G.hmmmmmm

Oh wait, now they are ok.  Guess he cooperated.  :)

So that day ended with another nap from the little man.  I sure did wear him out!!!

Then it was onto Friday.  Yes another Friday.  Why I say that you ask.  Well its swimming lesson day.  And I didnt bring my camera as I was sure he would just cry, why would I want to take more pics of him crying and clinging onto the teacher.  Well he didnt.  I was fooled.  He wasnt super happy, but luckily Love To Swim rewards kids who had a birthday, yes another celebration of birthday, and he was given a rubber ducky.  It saved him.  He played with it the whole time.  Walked along the wall with his hands.  Shot under the water trying to fetch some balls.  Ya not quite crying like I thought he would, so I am for sure bringing the camera this next Friday.

So since he did so well, we went to McDonalds for lunch.  Then later I took G, J and Ty (the neighbor) to PUMP IT UP!!!!  the inflatable wonderland.  They had a great time.  Here they are going down a slide together.

There were only a few large raspberries given by the plastic slides.  Mostly on J.  But it was fun.

The weekend came and first we had to find out about soccer.  Of course neither child had a coach.  It just never fails.  However luckily someone stepped up for both teams so the kids can play.  BUT G isnt so into it yet.  He did kick the ball into the goal a few times but then it started to sprinkle, so my big man is now a wimpy big man.  So no more soccer for him.  Hopefully he will warm up to it like he has almost done with  swimming.  Then it was time to plant some more.  Oh ya and of course I needed help.  So here we are planting our tomatos.

We then had another birthday party, with friends this time. However it turned out smaller then planned.  So I believe we will have to eat hamburgers and hotdogs the rest of the week.  But G loves his balloons and is so thankful Ty and  Brennan (who stayed only for a bit) and their mom came over to help celebrate.  G ate a hamburger, hotdog, tomatos, watermelon, and cucumbers.  Yes all of it.  Then he ate 2 cupcakes.  This time it was pink (strawberry) cake with white frosting.  He is so manly!!!!

We then played in the bath with our new goggles.  They have yet to be submurged into the water but at least he puts them on :)
Oh and this is he birthday duck from Love to Swim

So quite honestly this is probably the best week we have had so far.  It ended with the greatest thing ever, skyping with Dad.  We have missed you so much that we cant even stand it.  Seeing you today was so wonderful, I didnt want to hang up!!!  You look great and we are happy you are doing well.  I hope to add more good weeks to come.  Till next week, we love you and stay safe!!!!
