Week 2, WE SURVIVED!!!!!

Ok this had to be the longest week of all lives.  Monday morning I woke up to a little child with a fever. So this somewhat resembles what he did all day long.

However I did have to drag him to the grocery store which ended up being just a little bit more expensive then originally planned due to the fact some mysterious items ended up in the cart and then into the bags.

So then comes Tuesday, yes 2:30am Tuesday to be exact where Greysen wakes up crying with a fever of 104.  Ya not exactly what I was hoping for but needless to say I gave him some motrin and back to sleep for him.  Oh ya only to wake up at 3:30 am with yes still a fever and then back to bed he goes, oh and by the way not in his bed, mine!!! due to the enormous storm we were having which had just began.  I thought the house was going to end up in Kansas.  So then 6am comes along and I get myself out of bed and in the shower quietly as to not wake the sleeping prince.  After im done I head downstairs to get Jacob ready for school only to hear the pitter patter of little feet oh and the frightning scream and crying coming down the stairs wondering where I was.  However we did have some peace and quiet that day, this is what it looked like:

So onto Wednesday, but before we can actually wake up some little furry friend of ours paid a visit to the game room in the middle of the night.  Hmmmm something must not be right.  Owell I was exhausted so I slept.  Go to work with Greysen in haul, then come home only to actually notice what had happend all over the game room.  Could it be????  Could it really be????  Poo all over my game room???  Yes in fact that is exactly what happend.  So then its time to call the vet and haul the DOG to the vet.  All in all it was a very eventful visit as we had come to the conclusion that his allergies are going crazy.  He has a yeast and bacteria infection in his ears.  And his feet are infected from the allergies and chewing on them.  The Vet released us with 3 bottles of pills, and some more shampoo for his ever so sensitive skin.  So we must go home and meet up with Jacob so I can go to work.  But I guess Blu had other plans as he decided to let it all loose in my car, yes the Audi.  The ever so jinxed Audi.  He had poo'ed all over the passenger side of the car, but he didnt want to sit in it so he tried to get to the back of the car.  I made him sit there, so I guess he decided since he didnt want to sit in it so he started to eat it.  YES EAT IT!!!  Ok im so grossed out I want to puke!!!  But how can you be mad at such a cut puppy??

He looks sorry doesnt he???

Thankfully my work was kind enough to give me the day off :)

Then onto Thursday.  I decided to take Greysen to the doctor before the big "ARCTIC BLAST" hits San Antonio and the whole city closes down.  Yes Greysen has an ear infection still!!!  So that explains the 4 days of fever.

So that gives us Thursday night and the "ARCTIC BLAST"  it was sooooo freakin cold!!!!!  I think the wind chill was around 9 or 10 degrees.  yes in southern Texas!!!  However we woke up to kids screaming and having fun on the street.  It looked something like this.

7:30am Friday morning consisted of all the neighborhood kids scrambling to find object that would take them flying down the frozen hill.  Unfortunately only 2 items worked which made them all take turns, but they had fun.  Oh and there was even some extra "ice" or maybe "snow" on top to make a few snowballs.  Here is some pictures to show you the fun

 This is Jacob sledding down.

So during all this excitement Greysen was sleeping but later in the day he finally awoke and noticed some snow out on the back deck.  Here is a few pics of his excitement in the snow, or wait is it ice???

Greysen throwing up the snow, not throwing up, throwing it up into the air :)

So Friday evening the snow, or wait maybe ice is melted and off to work.  Ya but we couldnt end the week without any other fun so Jacob decided to get a fever as well.  Saturday my babysitter was awesome enough to come watch Greysen so I could sit for 3 WHOLE HOURS in the after hours clinic.  Jacob was diagnosed with an ear infection and some viral chest thing.  So yes all three males in our house are on medications.  Here is my medicine counter:

Ya can you say im maxed out on brain power to remember when to give all these medications.

Well then today is Super Bowl Sunday.  My neighbor came over to help me make some homemade bread for cheese fondue later today.  This is my first attempt ever to make bread, its supposedly "rising" in a non-drafty place.  Check it out!!!

Ya 45 minutes later, its hasnt changed.  hmmmmmm we will see!!!!!

So the plan for super bowl is cheese fondue with bread and little weenies, and chicken wings.  I will post later to let you know how it all turns out.

All I can say is THANK GOODNESS WE SURVIVED WEEK 2.  (out of 40 something :))
