How could I forget????

How could I forget one of the most exciting days of the week.  That would have been Thursday when Jacob had his pac meeting for Boyscouts.  So two weekends ago they had the pinewood derby and Jacobs car did fairly well.  He ended up with 3rd place for the Webelos.  He was so excited. 

The cars name is Lucky Penny ( I think the lucky one was on the bottom, which was just the right weight to put him right on).  Ok so here are the pictures.  Oh and the other boy with the trophy would be another boy from his den who one first place. 

Greysens is the truck :) It was the fastest in the sibling race.

After the trophies and ceremonies for kids moving up they did a dog race which was talked about in their Boys Life magazine.  This is Jacobs den and they were the fastest den in the pac.

Our First Sunday Take Two

Well its been one week and we made it!!!!  There have been quite a few tears.  Calling mom a poop.  Hard lessons to learn.  New chores to get accustomed to.  New dinners.  New bed times.  Basically new routine.  However we ended the week on a good note and spent the day together, but it almost didnt happen.  I had told the boys we were going bowling.  Jacob of course had to give me an attitude as he couldnt just sit at home and watch tv, play video games, or play on the computer.  So he started with his normal moaning and groaning and me telling the boys if this is how we act then we wouldnt go.  Then Greysen started crying as bowling is his most favorite past time.  Everyone said sorry and out the door we went.  First stop bowling.  Got our shoes, our balls and the nice lady even came over to help me put our names on the screen since im not so good at that kind of thing.  First game, I win!!!!!  Second game, Greysen won!!!!!  all was happy and hungry.  I went to pay and can I just say I almost threw up with the price.  It was almost 50 dollars for the two games and shoes.  Freak really, I had to pay that much to wear shoes that millions others have worn.  Well next time I will just go to our trusty base bowling alley.  But we had fun regardless. 

Next stop Smashburger.  G wanted to go to McD's but honestly I cant handle that place more then one time every two weeks.  So Smashburger it was.  Very good!!!!  G stole my fries however couldnt eat his own.  J ate all and almost licked his basket.  So off to Baskin Robbins cause how can I say no to ice cream.  We were able to get it and sit outside, it was such a beautiful day!!!  They say it was in the low 80's (IN JANUARY)!!!!  So home we went to spend the day outside playing.  I tried to get G to ride his new bike (the one he crashed on, and split his head open) and for some strange reason he didnt want to ride it and resorted to his big wheel.  Ya rode the big wheel so much he got a blister on his butt, for real!!!

 After riding we spent time kicking the soccer ball and jumping on trampoline.  All in all a good day, oh wait did I mention I was a poop at the end of the day and G wanting daddy.  Ya well you know it was fun while it lasted. At least we all survived!!!
